Hello Fallen Timbers Republican Club Friends,
March’s meeting is quickly approaching. Can you believe that we are just a little over a week from our primary election? This year’s elections in March and November will be pivotal to the direction our state and our country will take for years. FTRC’s meeting this month includes several speakers. First, Anthony Wayne School Board members Kyle Miller and Mike Stamm will be sharing information about the upcoming levy. Come find out how this levy is different from the one attempted last November. I’m sure it will be very informative for all of us.
Also, several local primary candidates will be speaking. We decided to allow any conservative candidate in a primary time to speak if they contact us prior to the meeting. Time will be equally divided among all candidates. Currently we have four attending. This number may increase if others contact us prior to the deadline of Tuesday, March 12 at 8 PM. We do have one rule however; we want this to remain positive. Candidates cannot speak negatively about their primary opponent(s). If they do, our fearless Parliamentarian, Carolyn, will give them an immediate buzzer. Their time to speak will be done.
